To learn about the latest IT technology, four years of undergraduate study is not enough. For this reason, the Department of Information and Computer Science strongly recommends that students advance to the master’s course for a consistent program of six years’ study. In fact, 82 percent of our students go on to graduate school. Most of the students who graduate from the graduate school find employment in the IT industry. Even a few years ago when it was said that jobs were getting hard to come by, there was little effect on the employment of students from the Department of Information and Computer Science, almost all of whom landed jobs at their preferred companies. There are also students who go on to study for a master’s or who go on to work for the organizations such as the national civil service, banks, government think tanks, or media companies.
